- Reliable frying oil quality control, FFA in mg KOH/g: FryTest strips measure the level of free fatty acids (FFA), expressed in mg KOH/g, the recognized indicator of frying oil degradation. You decide on a measurement, not by eye: oil still good, to watch, or to change.
- Less waste and better oil cost control: by replacing the oil only when a critical threshold is reached, you avoid premature changes. Objective oil monitoring helps optimize consumption and cut running costs lastingly.
- Result in 60 seconds, with no device at all: dip the strip for 2 seconds in oil between 10 and 40 °C (50-104 °F), wait 60 seconds, then compare with the printed color chart. No electronic tester, no calibration, no maintenance, no parts to replace.
- ISO 9001 certified, HACCP-compliant manufacturing: FryTest strips are made at an ISO 9001 certified site, ensuring consistent quality. The test protocol is part of an approach compliant with HACCP and food-safety requirements.
- Free app included to record your tests: log and time-stamp every oil check on your phone and keep a complete HACCP journal, inspection-ready, usable straight away with no mandatory sign-up and available in 8 languages.
- Compatible with all frying oils: FryTest works with vegetable oils, animal fats and the blends used in deep fryers. The strip reacts directly in the oily matrix to deliver a consistent result, whatever the type of fat.
- Blue-to-yellow color reading, easier to interpret: the FryTest color chart shifts from blue to yellow, giving a clear, progressive visual contrast. This distinct transition makes interpretation easier and avoids the confusion common with the dark-green to light-green scales used by other tests.
